Your comments, questions, and feedback about this web site and CEN are welcome.

The purpose of the CEN website is to inform the public about opportunities to get involved in environmental issues in the greater Chicago metropolitan area and to promote public participation in environmental activities. Member organizations offer a wide variety of opportunities that let you participate in conservation activities and educational programs. Click here for a complete member list.

CEN was established with initial support from the Chicago Zoological Society and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency. Argonne National Laboratory, a division of the U.S. Department of Energy, provided technical development of the website. The CEN office is located at Brookfield Zoo, 3300 Golf Road, Brookfield, Illinois 60513. Brookfield Zoo provides technical support and funding for the CEN website.
